Bio:

Hi there and welcome! My name is Megan Griebenow and I am excited to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for you. Whether this is your first time sharing your story, or if you’ve told it before, I am honored to be on your team and start this journey with you.

I believe in honesty, vulnerability, and open-communication throughout our sessions. I am passionate about creating a space filled with empathy, support, and validation—as this is something a lot of us have not always experienced. It is my goal to establish a positive, supportive relationship throughout our sessions, so you can feel safe in sharing your truth and your story.

As a therapist, I believe in taking a collaborative approach to help you reach your goals; you are the expert in your own life, and I am here to assist in guiding your journey. I am also here to be straightforward and transparent with you. I am passionate about providing a holistic approach to therapy and acknowledging the importance of the connection between our minds, bodies, and environments.

Relationships are powerful. Relationships with(in) ourselves, our families, our friends, our communities…see where I’m going? While these relationships are often a source of joy and love, they can also be a source of hurt and pain (and maybe even all of the above at once). We will work together to identify which relationships may need to be processed, strengthened, or healed. Throughout your therapy, you will be centered; your thoughts and your feelings…your story.
